ON GOVERNANCE

29 LAWS FOR THE PEOPLE
Every law identifies what blocks it, writes the repeal language, and drafts the replacement bill. A candidate can pick these up and introduce them on day one.

What This Project Is

This is a complete legislative toolkit for rebuilding state government from the ground up. 29 replacement laws, each one drafted in full legislative format, with the existing blockers identified and the repeal language written.

A candidate for state office should be able to pick up any of these bills, hand them to legislative counsel, and say: "Introduce this." That is the standard these bills were written to.

The Structural Argument

These aren't 29 separate ideas. They're one idea applied 29 ways: the system is designed to extract. Every law that looks neutral either enables extraction or resists it. There is no neutral.

The Phillips curve makes unemployment a tool, not a failure. Central bank "independence" insulates economic power from democratic control. Seed patents make reproduction illegal. Zoning makes food production illegal. Cashless mandates make privacy impossible. Subscription models make ownership impossible. HOAs make self-sufficiency illegal. Car dependency makes the energy budget impossible to meet individually. Tax shelters make the commons invisible.

Every one of these laws flips the direction. Open the gates. Tax the hoards. Build on what we already have.

The key insight: individual energy descent only works if collective infrastructure handles the shared load. 1,500W per person is realistic when transit, heating, food systems, and land are communal. It's punishment when they're not. The commons isn't something we'd create from scratch. It's what's already there, hoarded behind tax codes and locked gates.
