Build your own box

There is no shop on this site and nothing is for sale. The commercial product this handbook replaces ships a monthly box of dried herbs, seeds, study guides, glassware and classes. These pages are the assemble-it-yourself version: what each part of that box is actually worth, a complete starter kit of jars, bottles, a scale and a thermometer that costs about the price of three monthly boxes and then never again, and an explicit account of how this project is funded instead — by donations, with no advertising, no sponsorship, no affiliate links, and no way to pay for a favourable entry.
